Grilled to perfection...

Really? How did you know?!

I watch entirely too much FoodTV and I've noticed the emergence of a new marketing lie being exacted upon the public.

I've always asked a lot of questions, too many at times just ask my Dad. But I can't help but be troubled by how easily "sheeple" fall in line with marketing ads. "Grilled to perfection" is just one of those marketing ads. Isn't anyone asking, "How do you know?" To make such a statement suggests that the corporate marketing machine already knows what I like or that everyone likes the same thing. Maybe I like my steak charred, I'm betting that when they say "Grilled to perfection" they're not equating burnt with perfection. Actually I like my steak medium rare. I propose that it's harder to grill a steak to medium rare perfection that well done perfection, but I digress.

On a similar note, has anyone noticed that Tostidos owns a bunch of BCS Bowl Games, hell they own the whole BCS thing. A friend of mine calls all of the bowls "The Generic Corporate Sponsorship Bowl", haha. That is soooo true.

Ok back to your previously scheduled programming.

Happy New Year everybody,
