Xynergi - audio editing tool extraordinaire

About a year ago I got to play with a prototype computer keyboard that had mini-screens for keys. The demonstrator loaded the keys with various mappings; QWERTY, Pro Tools shortcuts, Ableton Shortcuts, etc. What I took away from the demo was that the technology, even though way cool, was way too expensive and missing the point of audio editing. Mapping shortcut keys to a computer keyboard is a good start but there needs to be more.
